    • Monitor for airway patency, oxygenation, hydration, and seizure activity

    • Allergic reactions and transient HTN reported

    • Red urine
    • Increased BP
    • Flushing

    Adult Dose
    • 5 g IV over 15 minutes
    • 2nd dose may be administered if needed for a total of 10 g.
