  1. How is sound conducted in the ear?
    Tympanic membrane -> malleus, incus, and stapes->into the cochlea->Detected by the hair cells in the organ of Corti
  2. What are the constituents of the outer, middle and inner ear?
    • outer: tympanic membrane
    • middle: malleus, incus and stapes
    • inner: organ of Corti, which contains the hair cells
  3. How is balance detected?
    By the semicircular canals in the inner ear.
