    • Venules: slightly larger than capillaries. Untappable
    • Capillary: form beds in every tissues in the body; only one blood cell in diameter and very fragile.

    • Elastic arteries: largest and thickest: Aorta
    • Muscular arteries/distributing: medium sized that go all over the body: brachial
    • Small arteries: arteries in fingers and toes
    • Aterioles: smallest arteries with three layers,
    • Capillary's: very thin, one cell wide
