    6CO2 + 6H2O -> C2H12O6 +6O2

    • Carbon dioxide + Water +Light energy-> 
    • Glucose + Oxygen
  2. Where does the exchange of CO2 and O2 occur?
    Openings in the leaf called stomata
  3. What is the role of pigments in plants?
    • Absorbs light
    • Chlorophyll A (absorbs red, violet blue wavelengths) and reflect green wavelengths
