  1. Use of Lo
    refers to concepts that have no gender
  2. lo + [masculine sing. adj.]
    • english equivalent is the + [adj.] thing.
    • lo difícil = the difficult thing
  3. Lo más/menos/mejor/peor
    used to express idea of most/least/best/worst (thing)
  4. lo + [adj. or adv.] + que
    english equivalent is how + [adj.]

    • can be replaced by qué + [adj.]
  5. Lo que
    English what, that or which.

    the thing.
