3. Possible digitalis toxicity
CALCIUM CHLORIDE / ELECTROLYTE Precautions
- May precipitate toxicity in patients taking digoxin
- Ensure the IV line is in a large vein and flushed before and after using calcium
CALCIUM CHLORIDE / ELECTROLYTE Dosage/Route
2 - 4 mg/kg IV (10% solution)/10 min as needed
