  1. What is delta H?
The change in the heat of something (reaction, phase change) at constant pressure
  2. When do delta H and delta E differ substantially?
When a gas is formed or consumed in reaction/phase change
  3. Entropy is what?
Entropy describes the number of equivalent ways that energy can be distributed in a system. Describes the randomness of a system
  4. What is the standard heat of formation?
is the amount of heat absorbed or evolved when specifically one mole of the substance is formed at and 1 atm from its elements in their standard states
  5. What happens to position of equilibrium of reaction if ∆G◦ is positive?
Position of equilibrium lies closer to reactants and reaction appears non-spontaneous
  6. What happens to position of equilibrium of reaction if ∆G◦ is negative?
Position of equilibrium lies close to products and reaction appears spontaneous.
  7. What happns to position of equilibrium if ∆G◦ is equal to zero?
Position of equilibrium lies halfway between products and reactants. Significant amount of both products and reactants
  8. At equilibrium, a reaction has how much free energy?
