why isn't conventional AP the first line?

only tx positive sx and not the negs. also cause SE (acute dystonia, akathesia, pseudoparkinsons, TD)
What is the first line? typical or atypical AP? why?

atypical. bc tx BOTH positive and negs sx.
what is a big risk for taking the atypical AP Clozapine (clozaril)?

agranulocytosis
What are common endings for atypical AP?

'pines and 'dones
even though atypicals AP are first line and treat both pos and negs, what's bad about them?
- -more expensive
- -metabolic SE (wt gain, alt glucose metabolism)
