Why do we move the SEATBELT and NO PED switches together?
Do we use the AUTO position?
Creates the seatbelt chime - VX aircraft do not have a chime associated with the PED switch. A chime is associated with the SEATBELT switch, however. Moving both switches together our guest are alerted to fasten SEATBELT and to the NO PED requirement.
We do not utilize the AUTO position.
