What is translation? What are the requirements of translation?

DNA translation is the process of protein production using mRNA that is produced in genetic transcription. As the term "translation" implies, the process involves decoding the mRNA to produce a chain of polypeptides, and the polypeptides are then used as a template to form a series of amino acids.
What is a codon?

Codon = three bases on an mRNA molecule that code for a specific amino acid

What are stop codons? What are they?

UAA UAG UGA. The site where translation stop because of no corresponding amino acids.
What is a start codon? What amino acid does it code in prokaryotes/eukaryotes?

AUG in Eukaryote is methionine. In prokaryote is formyl Methionine.
