  1. Alemtuzumab
    • CD25 target
    • binds to B cells and so marks them for destruction via cell-based immunity.
    • Used in B-cell CLL, multiple sclerosis
  2. Aspirin
    • Non-selective COX inhibitor
    • Anti thrombotic at low doses
    • irreversible inactivation
    • side effects: salicylate poisoning, Reye’s syndrome, hypersensitivity reactions
  3. Azathioprine
    • inhibitor of immune cell proliferation
    • inhibit synthesis of guanosine and therefore inhibit DNA synthesis
  4. Celecoxib
    COX-2 selective NSAID
  5. Cimetidine
    • H2 selective antagonist
    • Treats gastric ulceration- reduces acid secretion
  6. Clarithromycin
    Antibiotic eradication of Helicobacter pylori
  7. Cyclosporin
    • calcineurin inhibitor which inhibit T-cell proliferation
    • Inhibits secretion of IL2
  8. Dexamethasone
    long acting corticosteroid
  9. Dimenhydrinate
    • CNS-penetrant antihistamine
    • Treats motion sickness
    • H1 antagonists

    • reversible and competes with arachidonic acid for binding within COX enzymes
