What is a heart valve?

structures within the heart that open and close with the heartbeat and regulate the flow of blood
aortic valve

normal blood pressure
what is hypotension

high blood pressure
what are the purkinje fibers (network)?

fibers in the ventricles that transmit impulses
what is polarization?

resting state of the myocardial cells
what is depolarization?

myocardial cells going from rest to contraction
what is repolarization?

recharging of the myocardial cell
what is normal sinus rhythm (NSR)?
- regular rhythm of the heart cycle
- 60-100 bpm
