Increased: mono, viral or bacterial infections, leukemias, multiple myeloma
Decreased: AIDS, lupus, renal fx, sepsis

enter tissues to become macrophages, produce antibodies to activate lymphocytes
Increased in chronic inflammation, parasitic infection, TB, viral infection

Eosinophils
in response to allergies
Increased: allergic reaction, asthma, Hodgkin's disease

Promote inflammatory response, contain histamine.
