  1. Acetylsalicylic Acid
    inhibits anti-hypertensive effects of ACE inhibitors

    Ammonium chloride and other urine acidifying drugs will increase effects of aspirin – watch for toxicity
  2. Morphine Sulfate
    Use with caution with patients taking other analgesics, depressants or narcotics
  3. Activated Charcoal
    Does not adsorb cyanide, ethanol, methanol, ferrous sulfate, caustic alkali or mineral acids, or lithium
  4. Nitroglycerin
    Use with caution with patients who already use vasodilators, alcohol, calcium channel blockers, beta blockers and phenothiazides
  5. Oxygen
    none
  6. Diazepam
    Use with caution when patient is taking antihistamines, antidepressants, alcohol, narcotics, barbiturates, sedatives and hypnotics as these drug classifications may potentiate the effects
  7. Midazolam
    Other CNS depressants or benzodiazepines
  8. Naloxone
    none
  9. Glucagon
    none
  10. Dextrose 50% in water (D50W)
    none
  11. Thiamine
