1 Peter 4

  1. Who is done with sin?
    He who has suffered in his body (4:1)
  2. For what does he who is done with sin live the rest of his earthly life?
    The will of God (4:2)
  3. Who choose to live in debauchery?
    Pagans (4:3)
  4. What do pagans heap on you?
    Abuse (4:4)
  5. Who will have to give and account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead?
    Pagans (4:5)
  6. To whom was the Gospel even preached?
    To those who are now dead (4:6)
  7. What is near?
    The end of all things (4:7)
  8. Why should you be clear minded and self- controlled?
    So that you can pray (4:7)
  9. What covers over a multitude of sins?
    Love (4:8)
  10. How should you offer hospitality to one another?
    Without grumbling (4:9)
  11. How should each one use whatever gift he has received?
    To serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms (4:10)
  12. In what may God be praised through Jesus Christ?
    In all things (4:11)
  13. How should you not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering?
    As though something strange were happening to you (4:12)
  14. What may you be when Christ's glory is revealed?
    Overjoyed (4:13)
  15. What rests on you?
    The Spirit of glory and of God (4:14)
  16. How should it not be if you suffer?
    As a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler (4:15)
  17. Why should you praise God if you suffer as a Christian?
    Because you bear that name (Christian) (4:16)
  18. What will begin with the family of God?
    Judgment (4:17)
  19. What is it hard for the righteous to do?
    Be saved (4:18)
  20. To whom should those who suffer according to God's will commit themselves?
    Their faithful Creator (4:19)
  21. Recite 1 Peter 4:8       
     Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
  22. Recite 1 Peter 4:9-10 
     Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
  23. Recite 1 Peter 4:11     
    If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
  24. Recite 1 Peter 4:16     
     However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
