Extension
toes up, raising foot upwards towards shin
Dorsiflexion
toes down; pointing the foot downwards
Plantarflexion
extension beyond the normal stopping position

movement of a body part in a posterior direction
retraction
movement of a body part superiorly
elevation
movement of a body part inferiorly
depression
touching the thumb to the tips of the fingers on the same hand
