Through what have they received a faith as precious as ours?
The righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. (1:1)
What be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord?
Grace and peace. (1:2)
What has given us everything we need for life and godliness?
His (God's) divine power. (1:3)
What may you escape?
The corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (1:4)
What is caused by evil desires?
The corruption of the world. (1:4)
To what should you make every effort to add knowledge?
What should you make every effort to add to self-control?
To what should you make every effort to add brotherly kindness?
What if you possess these qualities in increasing measure?
They will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1:8)
What if anyone does not have these qualities?
He is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. (1:9)
What should you be all the more eager to make sure?
Your calling and election. (1:10)
Into what will you receive a rich welcome if you do these things?
The eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (1:11)
In what are you firmly established?
The truth you now have. (1:12)
For how long does Peter think it is right to refresh your memory?
As long as he lives in the tent of this body. (1:13)
What has our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to Peter?
That he will soon put it (the tent of this body) aside. (1:14)
What will Peter make evey effort to do?
See that after his deaprture you will always be able to remember these things. (1:15)

Cleverly invented stories. (1:16)
When did our Lord Jesus Christ receive honor and glory from God the Father?
When the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." (1:17)
When did we ourselves hear this voice that came from heaven?
When we were with our Lord Jesus Christ on the sacred mountain. (1:18)
Until when will you do well to pay attention to the word of the prophets?
Until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. (1:19)
What came about by the prophet's own interpretation?
No prophecy of Scripture. (1:20)
How did men speak from God?
As they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (1:21)
