whatever we do, work at it with all our heart, as working for god & not for man, since we know that we will receive an inheritance from god as a reward.

love yahweh with all our heart, soul, & strength. these commandments that god gave us are to be on our heart. impress them on our children; talk about them early, often, & daily.

w/o faith it is impossible to please god, b/c anyone who comes to god must believe that god exists & that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

we know that all things work together for good to those who love god and are called according to his purpose.

the foolishness of god is wiser than any human wisdom, the weakness of god is stronger than any human strength.

do not let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

simply let our 'yes' be 'yes' & our 'no' be 'no' - anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

come to jesus all who are weary & burdened, & he will give you rest.

by jesus all things were created; things in heaven & on earth, visible & invisible, whether thrones, powers, rulers, authorities - all things were created by him & for him.

god said, "let us make man in our image & in our likeness & let them rule over the fish of the sea & the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, & over all the creatures that move along the ground."

jesus said, "i tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of god unless he is born again."

be imitators of god.

jesus wept.

do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

with one sacrifice jesus made his people perfect forever; we are the ones being made holy.

continue to work out your salvation with fear & trembling, for it is god who works in us to will & to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

who has understood the mind of yahweh, or instructed him as his counselor?

everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded from them.

submit ourselves to god. resist satan, & he will flee from us.

everyone who is a child of god has the power to win against the world.

make every effort to live in peace with everyone & to be holy; w/o holiness we will not see jesus.

the human heart is the most deceitful of all things & desperately wicked.

in christ, he chose us before the world was made. he chose us in love to be his holy people; a people who can stand before him w/o fault.

no one has ever seen god, but god, the one & only son, is at the father's side; he has shown us what god is like.

yahweh looks out over the whole earth, he gives strength to those who commit their lives completely to him.
