Motor - muscles to eyes; looking up & down

- Motor - moving jaw
- Sensory - feeling of face
VI. Abducens

Motor - moving eyes left & right
VII. Facial
- Motor - making facial expressions
- Sensory - taste at tip of tongue
VIII. Vestibulocochlear

Sensory - Hearing and balance
IX. Glossopharyngeal
- Motor - swallowing; muscles in back of throat
- Sensory - taste in back of tongue
X. Vagus
- Motor - movement in viscera
- Sensory - feelings in gut; (upset stomach)
XI. Accessory

Motor - muscles to neck/ upper back
