Matter is anything that has Mass and Takes up Space.

A pure substance is matter that contains only one kind of particle.

Mixture is a matter that contains more then one kind of particle together.

A element is a pure substance that cannot be broken down into simpler parts by using chemical methods.

A compound is a pure substance made of two or more different chemicals that are chemically combined.

Physical Property is the charcteristic of a substance that can be observed and mesured without changing the identity of the substance.

Viscosity is the mesure of a substances ability to flow.

This is the tempature in which a solid turns into a liquid.

This is the tempature of which a liquid turns into a gas.

This is the measure of the ability of a substance to disolve in another substance.

Density is the ratio of the mass of a substance to the volume it occupies.

Chemical property is the ability of a substance to change or react, and to form new substances.

Combustibility is the ability of a substance to burn in the air.

Stability is the ability of a substance to remain unchanged.

Toxicity is the ability of a substance to cause harmful effects in plants and animals.
