  1. How do you round when weighing children?
    • To the nearest:
    • 10 grams or 0.5 oz for infants
    • 100 grams or 0.25 lbs for children 
  2. How do OCF measurements differ by age?
    • Newborn: OFC> chest cm
    • – 1-2yrs: OFC=chest cm
    • – Later: chest cm> OFC 
  3. When do you start measuring BP annually in children
    age 3-adolescence
  4. What order should you take infant vitals?
    • 1) RR
    • 2) HR
    • 3) BP (if necessary)
    • 4) Temp
    • Idea is to keep all as normal as possible by not irritating the baby. 
  5. Which assessment is last on the list?
    Otoscopic inspection. Can be irritable, so save it until you have everything else. 
  6. At what age does the PMI move from 4th to 5th ICS?
    ~7 yrs.
