    This is the kind of intelligence is used to achieve important goals. It involves Analytical Thinking, Creativing Thinking, and Practicial Thinking.
  2. Analytical Thinking
    Commonly known as critical thinking--involves analyzing and evaluating information, often in order to work through a problem or decision. Analytical thinking is largely responsible for school sucess and is measured through traditional testing methods.

    Analytical thinking is required to solve problems and to judge the quality of ideas.
  3. Creative Thinking
    involves generating new and different ides and approaches to problems and, often, viewing the world in ways that disregard convention (commond standards)

    Creative intelligence is required to formulate good problems and ideas in the first place.
  4. Practical Thinking
    means putting what you've learned into action in order to solve a problem or make a decision--and carrying what you learn from the experience with you to use with future situtations. Practical thinking enables you to accomplish goals despite obstacles.

    Practical intelligence is needed to use the ideas and their analysis in an effective way in one's everyday life.
  5. Why is Successful Intelligence the key to success?
    It helps you understand how learning propels you toward goals, boosting your desire to learn. It gives you ways to move toward those goals, increasing your willingness to work hard. It helps you to maximize strengths and compensate for weakness, leading to a greater ability to capitalize on who you are and what you can do. It also increases your value in school and on the job: people with highly developed critical, creative, and practical thinking skills are in demand because the can apply what they know to new situations, innovate, and accomplish their goals.
