    Lipid panel and LFTs

    elevations of liver enzymes, muscle weakness, dyspepsia and abdominal pain
  4. What are the diagnositic tests for Coronary Artery Disease?
    EKG

    Exercise stress test

    Nuclear Stress test if unable to perform exercise.

    Possibly CT  for calcium scoring and estimating "plaque burden".

    Cardiac catherization with angiography

    CRP - for inflamation.
  5. What are the treatments for CAD?
    Balloon angioplasty, stenting, or CABG
  6. Describe treatment for angina?
    Rest and Nitro.

    3 doses of nitro 5 min apart - if not relief call EMT

    • Prescribe beta blocker or long acting nitro 
    • and placed on daily aspirin therapy
