  10. Molar Mass
    grams per mole of sum of elements in compound, key conversion factor for reactions, mole ratio of coefficients from balanced equation, mole fractions in calculations
  11. Mass Calculations
    Use mole fractions, molar mass to predict grams of products
  12. Percent Yield
    Actual yield less than theoretical, 100% yield, from mole fraction, grams or moles
  13. Limiting Reactant
    least amount of moles or equivalents, used up first, limits yield of product
  14. Excess Reactant
    Used in excess, left over, not consumed, more moles
  15. Energy Changes
    heat lost or gained, endothermic-heat absorbed, ΔH positive, exothermic-heat released, ΔH negative, per mole
  16. Activation Energy
    barrier between reactants and products, rate of  reaction, transition state, where the atoms rearrange
