    • Condition 2. N/A to m16
    • Condition 3. Safety on, magazine inserted, chamber empty, bolt foward, ejection port cover closed
    • Condition 4. Safety on, Magazine removed, chamber empty, bolt foward, ejection port cover closed
  6. Three weapons carries
    • Tactical Carry - no immediate threat is present
    • Alert Carry (alert to the dirt) - enemy contact is likely
    • Ready Carry - contact with the enemy is imminent
