Warren Ribley, appointed by Gov Quinn March 2009; Formerly Director of Operations since 2003; oversaw all 12 administrative offices and 12 program bureaus; helped the state of Illinois add more new jobs than any Midwestern state since 2004; facilitated the development of more than 585 new business projects in Illinois; key player in the campaign to bring FutureGen, the “clean-coal plant of tomorrow” to Mattoon. In state government since 1979; Office of Illinois Senate President; Office of State Treasurer; Director of Banking where he worked for Quinn.
