  1. speed:
    ability to move the body in one intended direction as fast as possible.
  2. agility
    ability to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and change direction quickly, while maintaining proper posture.
  3. quickness:
    ability to react and change body postion with maximum rate of force production, in all planes of motion, from all body postions, during functional activites.
  4. Front side mechanics: triple flexion of the front leg
    • ankle dorsiflexion
    • knee flexion
    • hip flexion
    • keeping the lumbar spine neutral
  5. backside mechanics: triple extension of the back leg
    • ankle plantarflexion
    • knee extension
    • hip extension
    • keeping the lumbar spine neutral
