-Extends head and heck unilateral-Elevates scapula, upwardly rotates scapula middle fibers, Laterally flexes the neck-Depresses the scapula-Retracts Scapula middle fibers

-Transverse process of C1-C4

Insertion
-medial border of scapula from superior angle to root of the spine

Action
-Elevates scapula-downward rotation of scapula-lateral flexion of neck (Unilaterial)
