- 2.Gradually increase nose-up; match with nose-up trim. Take out some right rudder.
- 3.Check Below 150
- 4. Drop Gear - Heavier sink rate will onset. More nose-up/ nose-up trim
- 5. Stabilize at 120
- 6. BLC
- 7. Flaps LDG and Power 50% (Simultaneously as possible). Nose down + Right Rudder.
- 8. Trim Nose-Down and Right Rudder
- 9. Complete BLC
- 10. Max Power. Scan VSI. Add Right Rudder.

- 1. 30°AOB Turn for 90° Heading Change
- 2. 45° AOB Turn for 180° Heading Change. Some nose-up and power increase req. (62%)
- 3. 60° AOB Turn for 360° Heading Change. Nose-up and power increase req (70-75%)
During Transition from right to left (or left to right) turns anticipate pushing the nose down to prevent ballooning.

- Configuration: 150KIAS - (any, really) Clean
- Checklist - Engine Failure During Flight
- Clearing Turns - Sufficiently clear area
- 1. Zoom-Glide 125 KIAS. Trim
- 2. "PCL - OFF" (4-6% PCL)
- 3. Intercept ELP
- 4. Airstart if Warranted
- 5. Raise nose until gear warning sounds.
- 6. Lower nose to recapture 125
- 7.BLC- Holding at Flaps
- 8. Raise nose until stick shaker. Lower nose to capture120KIAS
- 9. Flaps -LDG , Complete BLC. (Check Altitude to verify still in the box and will recover in box)
- 10. Raise nose until stick shaker. Lower nose to caputure 120KIAS.

- 2. Two Needles Width Deflection, about 30° (10% Rule x2) But not greater than 30°
- 3. Every 30° Check Clock for 10 second increment
- 4. Maintain Scan for Speed, Altitude, AOB, Needle.

Timed Turn 1/2 SRT
Configuration: 150KIAS Clean
- 1. Lead Turn 3 seconds prior to xx:00 or xx:30
- 2. Full Needle Width Deflection, about 15° (10% Rule)
- 3. Every 30° Check Clock for 10 second increment
- 4. Maintain Scan for Speed, Altitude,
- AOB, Needle.

Vertical S-1
- Configuration: 150 KIAS Clean
- Procedure:
- With 3 Second lead prior to even minute,
- 1. Reduce Power to 15% simultataneously lowering nose 2° nose down (Trim left and down)
- 2. Verify 1000' FPM descent
- 3. Check against Clock every 250' increment
- With 3 seconds prior to minute or 50' prior to 1000' loss,
- 4. Add power 55% (trim right and up) for 4° nose-up.
- 5. Verify 1000 FPM ascent
- 6. Verify 15seconds every 250'
- 7. Transition back descent (Repeat from step 1)

GCA Maneuver
Configuration: 200KIAS, Clean, Cardinal Heading and Base Altitude
- 1. SRT for °90 degrees
- 2. 150KIAS with 10-25% Power
- 3. SRT 90°
- 4. BAC
- 5. 24% power, maintain 120KIAS, descend 2000' at 600FPM descent rate

Approach Pattern
Configuration: 200KIAS, Straight and Level, Cardinal Heading
- Procedure:
- 1. Slow to 150KIAS using 20% Power
- 2. SRT 90°
- 3. Start Clock (2 minutes)
- 4. Descend 1000' (15% TQ) 1000FPM
- 5. At end of 2 minutes, left SRT for 210° heading change. Maintain 150KIAS
- 6. Roll Wings Level, Transition to BAC
- 7. Allow 1000' Descent at 120 KIAS
- 8. Reset Clock (2 minutes)
- 9. Descend 1000', 1000fpm, 120KIAS
- 10. Missed Approach

Precautionary Emergency Landing
- 1. TURN in general direction toward nearest suitable airfield (NAVAIDS or FMS NRST)
- 2. CLIMB or ACCELERATE (140 KIAS for climb) to achieve DEGA.
- 3. CLEAN raise landing gear, flaps, speedbrake
- 4. CHECK engine instruments and analyze situation

Pattern Precautionary Emergency Landing
- 1. TURN towards nearest suitable runway - consider use of off-duty runway
- 2. CLIMB @ 125 KIAS
- 3. CLEAN- gear and flaps up. Report "aircraft clean" over ICS
- 4. CHECK aircraft and engine instruments
- 5. DETERMINE verify intended runway with instructor
- 6. DELIVER simulated Radio Report over ICS (actual- RDO/Tower)
- 7. REDUCE to 4-6% once within pattern DEGA and maintain 125 KIAS
- 8. LOWER landing gear
- 9. REPORT BLC, retrim for 120KIAS
