  6. Pigmentation of the globus pallidus as can be seen in Wilson's Disease
  7. Alzheimer Type II Neuron commonly seen in hyperammonemic states with swollen, irregular nuclei and peripheral displacement of the chromatin
  8. Discoloration of the Basal Ganglia as can be seen in Cardbon Monoxide Poisoning, PKAN, and Manganese Toxicity
  9. Discoloration / hemorrhage of the putamen as seen in Methanol Toxicity. Also affect the retinal cells and cerebral white matter.
  10. Wernike’s Encephalitis due to Thiamine deficiency with hemorrhages in the MB and PAG
  11. Central Pontine Myelinolysis
  12. Subacute Combined Degeneration affecting the dorsal column and corticospinal tracts as seen in B12 deficiency
