  4. Physical exam - weight, height, rib to pelvis distance, occiput to wall distance, fall risk for get up and go test
  5. Calculate absolute 10 year fracture risk

    • Caclcium
    • CBC
    • Creatinine
    • Alkaline phosphatase
    • TSH
    • SPEP if have vertebral fractures
    • 25-hydroxy Vitamin D ( only do after 3-4 months of Vit D supplementation and don't repeat if > 75 nM)
  7. Risk Factors to ask about on history for low BMD, fractures and falls:
    • Prior fragility #
    • Parental
