Clinical Assessment (practice OSCE visit)

History - risk factors for low BMD, fractures and falls
Physical exam - weight, height, rib to pelvis distance, occiput to wall distance, fall risk for get up and go test
Calculate absolute 10 year fracture risk

Creatinine
Alkaline phosphatase
TSH
SPEP if have vertebral fractures
25-hydroxy Vitamin D ( only do after 3-4 months of Vit D supplementation and don't repeat if > 75 nM)

Prior fragility #
