    Characteristic of an entity (pay rate, address, etc).

    Place where attributes are saved.
  9. What is a record (in digital data storage)?
    Group of related attributes about an entity.
  10. What is a file (in digital data storage)?
    Group of related records.

    - transaction (records from a specific period of time)

    - master (permanent; updated by transaction)

    - database (set of interrealted files).
