- Course: Follows the abdominal wall from posterior to anterior
- Distribution: Small contribution in innervations of anterolateral abdominal muscles; Skin on the pubic & inguinal regions
Genitofemoral
- Course: Descends anterior to psoas major muscle
- Distribution: Cremaster muscle; akin of the upper anterior thigh
Lateral cutaneous nerve of thigh
- Course: Passes medial to the anterior superior iliac spine to enter the later thigh
- Distribution: Skin of the lateral thigh
Obturator
- Course: Descentds medial to the psoas major muscle
- Distribution: Muscles of the medical compartment of the thigh & skin of the medical side of the thigh
Femoral
- Course: Descends lateral to the psoas major muscle & deep to the inguinal ligament to enter the thigh
- Distribution: Muscles of the anterior compartment of thigh & iliac muscle; skin of the anterior & medial thigh, medial leg, & foot
