Automatic Landings-General (AFM)
Do not conduct an automatic landing if:
- Align (ALN) mode is not displayed on FMA by 100' radio alt
- Either engine becomes inop at > 50' above rwy
- Automatic ground spoilers are not armed and operational
- Any unusual control position or other abnormal conditions exist in the manual flt cnt sys

Icing conditions in flight
RAT is less than or equal to 6 deg C and visible moisture is present
-
Engine Anti-Ice
For ground, takeoff, and flight operations, engine anti-ice systems must be on when icing conditions exist or are anticipated.
-
Air foil anti-ice
- In Flight- airfoil anti-ice should be used when Icing Conditions exist or are anticipated
- Do not use until reaching 1000' AFL after takeoff
- Minimum duct pressure for airfoil Anti-ice = 20psi
- When in icing conditions maintain sufficient thrust to keep associated ICE PROTECT TEMP LOW light extinguished
- Application of tail De-ice is required:
- - once every 20 minutes
- - One minute prior to extending landing flaps
- - After leaving Icing conditions, prior to turning system off
-
Brake Temperature
Do not takeoff if any brake temperature exceeds 205 deg C
-
