  1. heterosexual
    a person who is sexually attracted to the opposite sex
  2. bisexual
    a person who is sexually attracted to both sexes
  3. homosexual
    a person who is sexually attracted to the same sex
  4. gay
    man or woman homosexual
  5. lesbian
    a woman homosexual
  6. transgender
    person who feels that the gender they were born with does not correspond to their gender identity
  7. transsexual
    a person who feels himself or herself to be of the opposite sex and has had a sex-reassignment
  8. hermaphrodite
    a person who is born with both male and female sex organs
  9. transvestite
    a person who dresses as the opposite sex, not necessarily homosexual
  10. exhibitionist
    a person who publicly exposes his/her genitals
  11. voyeur
    a person who obtains sexual pleasure by watching others without their consent "peeping tom"
  12. pornography
    movies, books, photographs, paintings and other materials designed to excite people sexually
  13. sexual fantasy
    imagining sexually exciting thins, normal and healthy
  14. masturbation
    self-stimulation of the genitals, a normal and healthy release of sexual tension unless it becomes obsessive or interferes with a person's life
  15. incest
    sexual contact between closely related individuals, most often (but not always) between a male adult and a female child
  16. molestation
    physically touching or fondling a person against their will, without intercourse
  17. sexual battery
    • victim is held or restrained with skin to skin touching of intimate body parts (felony)
    • victim is not held or restrained and touching of intimate body parts can be over or under the clothes (misdemeanor)
  18. rape
    sexual intercourse through force or threat of force
  19. aquaintance or date rape
    rape by someone the victim knows
