    • acromion process - attaches to clavicle
    • coracoid process - other rocess off scapula
  22. pelvic landmarks
    • Ilium - largest upper bone; attaches to sacrum
    • Ischium - lowest part
    • Pubis - comes together at the pubis symphysis
  23. bones of the ribs
    • true 7 - connect directly to the sternum
    • false 3 - connect to the ternum via rib 7
    • floating 2 - do not connect to the sternum
  24. landmarks of the ribs
    • head - articulates with the spinal column
    • neck - extends from head
    • angle - point at which rib curves
    • shaft/body/corpus - major point of rib
    • costal cartilage - attaches the ribs to the sternum
  25. sternum portions
    • manubrium - where clavicles articulate; R1 attaches
    • body - attached via costal cartilage to R1 through R7
    • Xiphoid Process / Ensiform - landmark for CPR
