Non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent
Description
Derivative of Pancuronium, provides muscle relaxation for ET intubation
Mechanism of Action
Competes with Aceytlcholine for cholinergic receptor sites on the post-junctional membrane.
Result in paralysis of muscle fibers served by the occupied neuromuscular junction.
Does not cause initial depolarization wave like Succinylcholine
