  1. What is hyperthermia?
    Condition in which the core temperature of the body rises to 101 or above.
  2. What is conduction?
    Loss of body head by direct contact.
  3. What is a heatstroke?
    A life-threatening condition of severe hyperthermia. Marked by warm, dry skin, severely altered mental status and often irreversible coma.
  4. What is hypothermia?
    Condition in which the core temperature of the body falls to 95 or below.
  5. What is heat exhaustion/shock?
    Condition where the body loses significant amounts of fluid and electrolytes due to heavy sweating. Visibly looks shocky.
