    muscle situated at the junction of the small intestine (ileum) and the large intestine, Its critical function is to limit the reflux of colonic contents into the ileum.

    it is used for Vitamin B12 and bile acid absorption.

    Functionally, roughly two litres of fluid enters the colon daily through the ileocecal valve.
  12. ILEOCECAL VALVE

    ILEOCECAL- Pertaining to the ileum and cecum
    The valve is a muscular ring tht prevents liquid waste from flowing back into the small intestines
  13. LIVER
    Produces biles, which is necessary for the digestion of fats.
  14. MELENA
    Abnormal black tarry stool containing digested blood.

    Fungal infection of the mouth and throat that produces creamy white patches on the tongue and oral surfaces.
