    Anticoagulant; Adverse-anemia, increased liver enzymes, increased bleeding risk; Interventions-rotate site of injection, monitor for signs of bleeding or hemorrhage; Teaching-report bruising, don�t take aspirin or NSAIDS without dr consult

    Antidiabetic; Adverse-diarrhea, hypoglycemia, lactic acidosis; Intervention-monitor blood glucose level, hold 48 hours pre-surgery, watch renal function; Teaching-take at same time every day, does not cure diabetes, but helps control it, review all other meds
  4. Clindamycin
    Antibiotic; Adverse-diarrhea, hypotension, nausea and vomiting; Intervention-watch for superinfection, monitor for bone marrow depression; Teaching-finish all medication, advise of OTC and herbal
  5. Zoloft
    Antidepressant; Adverse-pt can become suicidal, insomnia; Intervention-monitor appetite and nutrition, monitor for mood changes; Teaching-Take as directed, avoid alcohol, wear sunscreen
