  2. FIRST STROKE INTAKE (four characteristics)
    • 1. Crankshaft is at the bottom of the cylinder
    • 2. Piston is at the bottom of the cylinder
    • 3. Intake valve is open
    • 4. Air and fuel is sucked in
  3. SECOND STROKE COMPRESSION
    • 1. Intake valve and Exhaust valve are closed
    • 2. Piston is at the top
    • 3. Crank shaft is at the top
    • 4. Pressure is building up
  4. THIRD STROKE POWER (four characteristics)
    • 1.Piston hits the top dead center
    • 2. Compression of air and fuel
    • 3. Sparks plugs ignite the air and fuel
    • 4. Piston gets fired down to bottom dead center
  5. FOURTH STROKE EXHAUST (three characteristics)
    • 1. Piston returns to top dead center
    • 2. Exhaust valve open
    • 3. Exvacuation of burnt products of combustion from the cylinder
