Measures airspeed in knots. It is calculated by the pitot tube.
VERTICAL SPEED INDICATOR (VSI)

measures the rate of climbs and descents
ALTIMETER

Indicates altitude. Dial is set to 29.92, barometric pressure at sea level on a standard day
ARTIFICIAL HORIZON/ ATTITUDE INDICATOR

Indicates the pitch and angle of bank (roll)
TURN NEEDLE

Indicates rates of turn (standard and half standard)
TACHOMETER

measure revolutions per minute
TRANSPONDER
- sends a discrete four digit squawk to the controlling FAA agency for identification purposes. It can also be used in an emergency by using the code 7700
- lost communication 7600
- hijack 7500
CLOCK

Used to measure rates based on time and distance. Communicated on a 24 hours timeline
