What is the anatomical position
Standing erect with feet slightly apart
Palms forward

Describe the directional terms
Anterior (ventral) vs. Posterior (Dorsal)- Front vs. back
Superior (cranial) vs. Inferior (caudal-towards the tail) - Above vs. below
Superficial vs. Deep- outside vs. inside

Proximal vs. distal- towards the start of the limb vs. away from the limb
