  1. Plural of nouns
    • nouns that end in a vowel form the plural by adding -s
    • nouns that end in a consonant add -es
    • nouns that end in -z change the -z to -c then add -es

    • when the singular noun has an accent mark on the last syllable, drop the accent mark
    • use the masculine plural form to refer to a group that includes both males and females.
  2. Spanish Articles:
    Spanish has four forms that are equivalent to the English definite artilcle the.
    You use definite articles to refer to specific nouns.
    You use indifinite articles to refer to unspecified persons or things.
    • Singular Plural Singular (plural)
    • el diccionario -----los diccionarios----- the dictionary ( the dictionaries) \ definate articles
    • la computadora-- las computadoras ---the computer (the computers).. /
    • un pasajero ------ unos pasajersos -----a (one) passenger (some passengers) ... \ indefinite articles
    • una fotografia --- unas fotografias -----a (one) photograph (some photographs) /
  3. Subject Pronouns
    • Singular
    • First person..............Yo..........................I
    • Second Person..........tú...........................you (familiar)
    • ................................usted (Ud.).............you (formal)
    • Third Person............ él/ella.................... he/she

    • Plural
    • First person..............nosotros (as)........... we (masculin/(feminine))
    • Second person ........ ustedes (Uds.) ........you (formal)
