    Power that is based on fear
  3. Reward Power
    Power that achieves compliance based on the ability to distribute rewards that other view as valuable.

    power that a person receives as a result of his ot her position in the formal hierarchy of an organization
  5. Expert power
    influence based on special skills or knowledge
  6. reference power
    influenjce based on possession by an individual of desirable resources or personal traits
  7. Information power
    Power that comes from access to and control over information
  8. Political skill
    The ability to influence others in sich a way as to enhance one's objectives.
  9. Empowerment
    Refer to the freedom and the ability of employees to make decisions and commitments.
  10. Job content
    the tasks and procedures necessary for carrying out a particular job
  11. job context
    the reson for doing the job; it reflects the organizational mission, objective and setting.
  12. Sexual Harassment
    Unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature in the workplace that negatively affects affects the work place or leads to adverse job-related consequencies for the employee
  13. Political Behavior
    Those activities that influence, or attemp to influence, the distribution of advantages and disadvantages within the organization.
  14. Impression Management
    The process by which individuals attemp to control the impression others form of them
