    • - Sternoclavicular joint
    • - Acromioclavicular joint

  2. What is the pectoral girdle?
    The articulation between the trunk and arm.

    It includes the scapula and clavicle
  3. What structures make up the sternum?
    • - Sternal Notch
    • - Manubrium
    • - Body
    • - Xiphoid Process
  4. Sternoclavicular Joint
    - A saddle joint (triaxial)

    - Located between the sternum (manubrium) and the medial head of the clavicle

    - The only direct connection of upper limb to axial skeleton

    - Has articular disc
  5. Acromioclavicular Joint
    - Plane synovial joint (nonaxial)

    - Has articular disc

    - Fibrous capsule with synovial membrane

    • - Superior & Inferior Acromioclavicular Ligaments
    • - Coracoclavicular Ligament
    • - Coracoacromial Ligament
