1) Fourth-century historian, Eusebius, says that a second-century bishop named Papias received oral traditions about the gospels and their authorship.

2)Mark writes stories, not just letters. Many churches know of Mark in 2nd century.
3)Mark had to be written before Mathew and Luke in order to be a source.
4)Had to be written before the destruction of the temple because it is mentioned in the middle of Jesus’ speech.

1) Mark uses the crowds as a character that is fickle. Start by loving Jesus and end chanting for his crucifiction.
