Conflicts

An external conflict that involves a struggle, mental or physical, between 2 people.

An internal conflict that involves the struggle between the character and his/her conscience.

An external conflict that involves the struggle between a character and the rules or laws that govern the society in which he/she lives.

An external conflict that involves a struggle between the character & the element(s) of nature that are beyond his/her control.

A conflict that takes place inside the character.

A conflict that takes place outside of the character.

Ex. A husband & wife disagrees about how they should spend money.

Ex. A person is in hurry & they run a red light.

Ex. A family is stranded in a snowstorm.

Ex. A woman is tempted to steal money from her employer so she can feed her family.
